CPF3204 Object needed by the file not found
Most common cause
The file depends on another object that cannot be found: typically a logical file whose based-on physical file (PFILE), or its member, is not in the library given or in the library list.
Other causes
- The file the logical shares its format with (FORMAT) cannot be found.
- When restoring several libraries, the library with the based-on file was restored after the logical file's library.
How to fix it
Qualify the based-on file in the DDS with PFILE(LIB/FILE), or add its library to the list, and create physical files before logical ones. After a restore in the wrong order, restore the logical file again, or give DFRID on the restore to defer it until the based-on file is there.
