CPF9801 Object not found in library
Most common cause
The command (often CHKOBJ) does not find the object. In CL it is routine, because CHKOBJ is used precisely to test whether an object exists.
Other causes
- Wrong object type (for example *PGM instead of *SRVPGM).
- Library given explicitly, but wrong.
How to fix it
If absence is an expected case, handle it with MONMSG CPF9801 EXEC(...). Otherwise check name, type and library.
