Most common cause
Storage accessed beyond the valid area, usually because a parameter is passed shorter than the callee expects.
Other causes
- Pointer arithmetic that leaves the allocated area.
- A copy (%SUBST, MOVEA) beyond the length of a based field.
How to fix it
Align parameter definitions between caller and callee, use prototypes with CONST or VALUE where you can, and check pointer arithmetic.
