MCH3402 Object no longer exists

Most common cause

The program uses an object (often a file or program) that was deleted while in use.

Other causes

  • A file or program deleted while an active job was using it.
  • A reference to an object in QTEMP after QTEMP was cleared.

How to fix it

Restart the job or activation group, so it resolves its references again. Avoid deleting objects in use in production.
