Most common cause
Use of a parameter that was not passed or of an invalid pointer. At machine level it usually matches MCH3601.
Other causes
- The caller passes fewer parameters than the callee uses.
- An *OMIT parameter used without a check.
How to fix it
Check %PARMS and %ADDR on optional parameters. Use the same prototype in caller and callee, through a /COPY.
