Most common cause

A limit was exceeded: the message gives which one as a type. The most frequent: the user profile storage limit (type 1), a query resource limit (type 3), the maximum table size (type 6).

Other causes

  • Too many commit locks (type 5) in a very long transaction.
  • Too many cursors open in the job (type 8).

How to fix it

Read the type in the message and the earlier job log messages. For type 1 raise the profile limit or free storage; for 5 commit more often; for 8 close cursors.
