Most common cause

The statement was stopped before completing. Reason code 1 means a cancel request from the client (ODBC, JDBC), often a timeout.

Other causes

  • The activation group or job ended while the statement ran.
  • A cancel reply to an inquiry message (reason 10).

How to fix it

Read the reason code. If it is a timeout, improve the query (Visual Explain, advised indexes) or raise the client's limit.
