CPF2182 Not authorized to library

Most common cause

The user lacks *EXECUTE (or *USE) authority to the library holding the object.

Other causes

  • Authority was granted on the object but not on the library.
  • The program runs with adopted authority and the adoption chain is broken.

How to fix it

Check with DSPOBJAUT OBJ(QSYS/LIBRARY) OBJTYPE(*LIB) and grant authority with GRTOBJAUT. Consider an authorization list instead of authorizing users one by one.
