Not a system error: a program sent SNDPGMMSG MSGID(CPF9898) MSGTYPE(*ESCAPE) with free text.
Other causes
- Many third-party packages and programs also use it to report their own errors.
How to fix it
Read the message text, which holds the explanation. To find who sent it, look at the sending program in the message details (F1, then F9).
