Most common cause
An array index or substring position out of bounds, at machine level. In RPG it usually shows as RNQ0100 or RNQ0121.
Other causes
- Generated code or APIs working on miscalculated lengths.
How to fix it
Check indexes and lengths before using them (%ELEM, %LEN).
