Most common cause
A computed or converted numeric value does not fit in the target column. The message gives the error type (1 is overflow).
Other causes
- A calculation with more integer or decimal digits than the column allows.
- Invalid numeric data (error type 6).
How to fix it
Make the column larger, or round with ROUND or DECIMAL before assigning.
