Most common cause
An external program (RPG, CL, Java) used as a trigger, procedure or function failed and returned the error to SQL.
Other causes
- The external program cannot be found or is not authorized.
- Many IBM i SQL services return their errors this way: a missing special authority, or an object that is not there (the message text says so).
How to fix it
Look at the job log of the job that ran the SQL: for remote connections it is a QZDASOINIT job. The real error is there, or in the message text.
