Most common cause

The called program cannot be found or cannot run, nearly always because it is not in the library list.

Other causes

  • No authority to the program.
  • The name in EXTPGM is wrong or in lower case.
  • The program is locked or damaged.

How to fix it

Read the system message before it in the job log (usually object not found or authority). Check library list, name and authority.
