MCH1202 Decimal data error
Most common cause
The program uses a packed or zoned field holding non-numeric bytes: blanks, x'00' or data of another type.
Other causes
- Parameters passed with different length or type between caller and callee.
- A data structure with numeric subfields not initialized (no INZ).
- Records with bad data in the file.
How to fix it
Initialize data structures with INZ, align prototypes between caller and callee, fix the bad records. In RPG it arrives as RNQ0907.
